Eijaz Khan or Kavya is probably the first actor on television to have done his own stunts in the serial Kkavyanjali. During the karva chauth scene Nitya (Amrita Singh) and Anjali (Natassha) had schemed to set out to destroy Kkavya (Eijaz Khan). As planned, Anjali’s dupatta catches fire, and Kkavya whilst trying to save his ladylove gets engulfed in the flames. Eijaz insisted doing the stunt himself since it was a very important scene and wanted the right emotions to come through. That’s getting caught in the heat of things literally …
