What’s in a name?
Is she Natasha or is she actually just Anita? There’s a lot of confusion about the real name of Bollywood’s Bindaas babe Natasha. But she clarifies, “My original name is Anita, but I changed that to Natasha when I began working on the Hindi serial Kavyanjali. Even for my Bollywood debut with Tusshar Kapoor, I was known as Natasha. But for all the films that I am doing in the south, I have managed to retain my own name and that is Anita. I have had a talk with my production team in Bollywood too and I really want to be known with my own name,†says Anita who made her Kannada debut with Veera Kannadiga. The actress is currently working on the period film Gandugoli Kumararama with Shivarajkumar. “The look for this film is something I have never attempted before. It is a challenging role,†she says.
