Balaji’s favourite star Anita Hasnandani is not accepting any roles as for now.Excerpts from a tete-e-tete:

The insignificant role in Kayamath
Yes, it wasn’t a big role, just a 10 episode cameo. I did it only for Balaji. They gave me a major role in my first serial Kabhi Sauten Kabhi Saheli which marked my entry into the television industry.

I also liked the role since it was a small one. In fact I’m not too eager to do lead roles right now. I�m taking a break from TV.

I did Kavyanjali for nearly two years. I have not got enough time for myself. The continuous hectic schedules have really made me tired and I need rest. I really need a break.

The amazing chemistry with Ejaz Khan
(Laughs) Agreed the chemistry between me and Eijaz was very good in Kavyanjali; people really liked us. But I do not think this was the motive to cast us together again in Kayamath since the role was a small one and for a short period of time.

On Just Married
I have done Kucch to Hai and Krishna Cottage earlier, so it was not a new experience for me. I guess here too Ejaz and I got cast because of Kavyanjali. I got to meet a lot of different people this time around and it was great working with Esha and Fardeen.

Any lead roles in the offing?
I have done a film with Sanjay Gupta, Dus Kahaniyan, where one of the stories features me. But I have not received any good offers to test my capabilities.At present I’m only thinking about my break and the things I would be doing during the break. No south roles either. (Sampurn)

    Please do a Nach Baliye 3 or another reality show soon …

    I guess breaks are better than rona dhona in saas-bahu serials but we miss you … :(

    We have to make do with ad films and cameos :(
