It was Dhoom Macha De time at Rang Sharda. Although it was raining cats and dogs, some celebs from chhota parda marked their presence at Tanaaz Lal Irani and D S Pahwa’s show. Ejaz Khan kept himself busy with beau Anita Hassanandani. Four lucky winners from the audience were given dinner coupons..
WHAT Dhoom Macha De show WHERE Rangsharda, Bandra WHO Ejaz Khan, Chetan Hansraj,
Tanaaz Lall and Bakhtyaar Irani should not have worried much. For even though the rain gods seemed to favour Mumbai a little too much, a large number of their friends and well-wishers turned up on Sunday evening to watch their play.
Not wishing to miss a moment was Sweta Keswani who rushed inside as soon as the play started. Sandiip Sikcand made an entry with Anita Hasanandani… but boyfriend Eijaz Khan was not far behind. The two held hands as they walked in, and while Eijaz seemed to be in a sulky mood, Anita’s wide smile made up for it.
The sister duo Gauhar Khan and Nigaar Z Khan couldn’t seem to get over the antics of Bakhtyaar, Hiten Paintal and Kishwar Merchant on stage. Pratichee and Anusha were seen together and seemed to have lots to catch up on.
Also spotted having a good time were Rajev and Delbnaazz Paul, Rajesh Khera and Gaurav Gera. And even though Ayub Khan and wife Niharika couldn’t make it to the play as Ayub wasn’t well, they messaged Bakhtyaar to tell him how much they missed being there. Now, isn’t that what friends are for!
Bakhtyaar Irani was pleasantly surprised to have so many of his friends come backstage and congratulate them.
“Chetan Hansraj came and gave me a big bear hug. And when Chetan hugs you, you get totally squashed!” he laughed.

Ekta Kapoor (top) celebrated her 32nd birthday on Thursday at a Juhu pub. Present at the bash were daddy Jeetendra, Shakti Kapoor, Eijaz Khan with girlfriend Anita Hasanandani (below), and birds of a (White) feather Vivek Oberoi and Sanjay Gupta (top).
When Sanjay Gupta throws a party, one can be assured it's going to be as stylish an affair as his movies. And the celebration bash for the success of his latest hit Shootout At Lokhandwala was just that. And more. For it was a dual celebration as it was also a do to celebrate Ekta Kapoor's birthday.
Sanjay, who played the perfect host as always, was seen spending quite some time with former wife Anuradha. Rohit Roy came in sans wife Manasi and hung out with Sudhanshu Pandde and Samir Soni. Kim Sharma was joined by friend Preeti Jhangiani, who came in rather late with Parvin Dabbas.
TOO MUCH TO TALK!
Apart from his gang, Samir also spent a considerable amount of time chatting with Sophie Choudry in a quiet corner. Wonder what the interesting conversation was about?
MAN OF THE MOMENT:
Was undoubtedly Vivek Oberoi. Though he didn't venture anywhere near the bar area, the actor seemed to be in high spirits. Oblivious to the appreciative looks he was getting from the women at the party, Vivek was busy mingling with all his friends.
NOT PARTY HEARTY:
While Bikram Saluja was busy catching up with friends, wife Schauna didn't seem to be in a mood to party. The couple left pretty early.
SINGLE IN THE CITY:
It wasn't just Rohit Roy, even Manoj Bajpai and Sanjay Suri were partying solo. Looks like it was a night out with the boys for the much-married men!

Ishaa Koppikar wore a red dress that made her look her curvaceous best. '
EAR' HER OUT!
Ekta Kapoor, who works all night long, entered only at midnight along with Eijaz Khan and Anita Hasanandani to cut her birthday cake. However, in all the chaos, the Queen of Soaps lost her earring.
