Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi – Sept 13th Weekly Review
Here we will only update mostly on the Sanchi-Nakul (Naman) track till Anita is in the show. Nakul was shown in Kyunki today drowning himself in misery (literally) and later saying that he is Nakul Virani and does not want to live in love but in reality. Absolutely brilliant acting by Naman Shaw. They showed some flashbacks of Anita with her pink dupatta, and recycled KA’s background music on Naman.
To sum up the whole week, on Monday a 3 minute music video was waved in our face, abruptly introducing Anita and Jai without making any real introductions in the credits, thoroughly confusing a lot of people into wondering what happened to the girl who played Sanchi.
And then the creatives proceeded to thoroughly bore us the entire week with yet another nonsense fake Karan-Nandani dying track. By the way, what were Karan and Nandani doing in Panchmeshwar? That place is holy (read:consummating before marriage) territory for Anurag, Prerna and their whole paltan. Not that I am shocked about the mixing of storylines; that happens all the time.
What was the point of all those needless celebrations? Sure it fetched TRPs, but the quality of the show stinks. There is absolutely nothing “creative” about it (what are the creatives being paid for), we are fed the same old recycled trash week by week in Kyunki and made to watch in the name of our favorite actor be it Hiten, Gauri, Akashdeep Saigal, Pulkit Samrat, Ronit Roy and now Anita.
I am sorry if I seem too harsh. You are all open to give your opinions of course.
Did anyone see the Anita (Sanchi) flashbacks that Nakul kept having? Were they not strikingly similar to the Anjum promos, with the dupatta flying in the wind? Does Balaji not have anything new left to offer the audience? This isn’t about Anita; I am glad to see her, she looked amazing, no one could do it better than her etc. But please, stop recycling the same music, stories, and expressions and wasting the talent of such good actors.
@ Anita: Please try and get a new lead role in something drastically different or a reality show soon. Your talent is not limited to looking sexy and glamorous, dancing in the rain and letting your hair fly in the wind (Not that we don’t like all that…)

omg they started using ka music now??
whenever her serials finishes, ekta uses those same theme songs in other of her serials lol

Thanks for the vids and great review!!
Initially, when i saw the pics in kyunki forum, I thought nakul was crying over Karan-Nandini’s ‘death’…ROFL! It’s just weird coz he saw sanchi with a guy on Monday, and he cries about it on thurs…lol there’s no continuity at all…
Anyway, i totally agree, ppl are just watching this crap for their fav actors coz otherwise the show is just unbearable!
I dont care if the show is no.1, but at this stage cookie shud be doing roles which challenge her. Maybe it’s too early to judge coz she has only been in the show for about 3 mins…Hopefully, her role will grow into something more meaningful…
But after this cameo, she shud do a lead role…and be in every frame, like she is capable of doin…
They use ka music in kasturi aswell sometimes….i dun care, as long as they dont use ‘woh mile the’ anywhere!!!!
Why dont EA tell each other to workkkk

Prerna and Shireen have said it all!
I applaude Ekta for one thing and one thing only that she is great at drafting in the right actors for the right roles. We’ve been exposed to some talented bunch.
Unfortunately, the quality of her so-called entertainment shows means the viewers can only appreciate the actor to a certain extent before they start loathing the show and questioning the actor’s choice in work.
Frankly, i’m not going to complain about wanting EA to work or not, that is there choice but if its a choice of being employed doing mediocre work and being unemployed but ready to commit to superior work, than the latter is more effective. Eijoo is safe with his investments so i say let them be selective. People like Mona Singh; Rajeev Khandelwal still have the support of their fans and have earned more respect for choosing quality over quantity!
Anita is obviously doing a favour for Ekta and a service to her fans who miss her presence on our screens so thanks Anita. I appreciate you tolerating the shooting schedule for a show as ‘intolerable’ as Kyunki.

Desi, you are right,
)
There is also little quality work in this industry, and you won’t really find that in K-serials, besides certain characters like the The Big Three. It’s harder for the men to get good work because family soaps have really overpowered the female character (not that it’s a bad thing
Well, Anita seems to like doing the romantic, goody-goody roles (no matter how much I want to see her kick a$$ or be a vamp) so I hope to see more of that in Kyunki. But at the end of the day you become either the scheming bahu, or the good one… and I don’t think she is sticking around that long… They might kill Sanchi
