Anita at Ekta’s Card Party

The great gamblers
Ekta Kapoor’s card party, this Diwali, was a complete hit. Bollywood janta and TV actors gambled enthusiastically

A grand Diwali card party was held at Ekta Kapoor’s parents’ house in Juhu. The party was attended by several film and TV stars – Boney Kapoor, Sridevi, Rakesh Roshan, Dimple Kapadia, Ronit Roy, Anita Hasanandani (who recently broke off with her boyfriend Eijaz Khan), Naman Shaw (Pushkar of Kasamh Se), Akashdeep Sehgal amongst others.
The men were in full josh and were bidding enthusiastically. Even the women soon decided that they were not going to lag behind. They too pulled out cash from their fancy designer bags!
In all, there were 14 tables arranged next to each other. Three to four tables were set up for Ekta Kapoor and Balaji actors, a few were reserved for Shobha Kapoor’s friends, and the remaining were occupied by Bollywood janta comprising Jeetendra, Rakesh, Boney, Sridevi and their friends.
The biggest loser
The first ones to arrive on the scene were director Boney Kapoor and wife Sridevi minus their daughters. Our sources reveal that Boney and Sridevi bid the highest and ended up losing the maximum money too. Hiten Tejwani lost bigtime too. Better-half Gauri Pradhan chose not to play cards at all.
Smart card
Akashdeep Sehgal, we hear, won the biggest sum of money at the card party. Ronit Roy did well for himself. When contacted, he said, “Which card party are you talking about? Oh, I didn’t win or lose anything at Ekta’s house.†However, an insider reveals, “Ronit left at 9 pm, but he won a big amount. Actress Suvarna Jha of Kyunki… fame also played well.â€
Dimple Kapadia played well too and made some good money. Jeetendra and Rakesh Roshan did not lose any money either.
Even-tually
Neelam Kothari ended even. Ditto for Priya Arya, Roshni Chopra, Karan Patel and Rohit Roy. “Shobha gave Rs 5,000 to Naman and Anita for good luck. And it seemed to work for them for they didn’t lose any money. In the end, they came and gave the money back to Shobha.â€
Card bored?
Prachi Desai landed up at the party visibly upset due to her ouster from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2, which had happened the same morning. To cheer her up, Shobha gave her Rs 10,000 for good luck. But Prachi did not join the card gang. “Shobha told her that she should keep the money aside and it would multiply. Prachi complied,†our source says.
Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor steered clear of playing cards. She preferred to play the host instead. The party went on till the wee hours of the morning.

Are you sure? Has either of them made a statement to that effect? How about the mast kalandar show that they did together if they’ve split?
I do feel upset for anita as well as eijaz. They made such a beautiful couple!!
It will be difficult to watch KA reruns without remembering!!
But I wish them both happiness…

Yes, and as far as I am concerned its nothing to feel sad about especially since most people don’t even know them personally! What appears onscreen and happens offscreen are two very different things. I don’t want to divulge any personal details and its not my place to comment further on the issue. Its self-explanatory why we have stopped posting Utsav videos and never had an EA gallery under Kavyanjali, and I have been very stern in the past few months about linking news and posts to him etc. From now on, any comment on Eijaz on this site would be edited out. It would be considered inappropriate and insensitive. Hope everyone understands.

The thing is I launched his site at a very wrong time, I barely have the time to update both but I am lucky since he hasn’t done anything new besides shooting for his movie. Fear not, I am recording his scenes from Kesar, Kahin to Hoga, Nimmo etc. that are repeating right now and other stuff. I just have no time to get down and finish the project until holidays. But yes, I will keep that site of course. I have nothing personal against Eijaz, lol. What I meant to say is that I would have to edit all the fanmail that says “you and eijaz look great together” etc.

Friends, please cut out the fighting… you have to remember Cookie and Eijaz do know about this site and do come online … We all have to be careful about the things that are said here. I wouldn’t want to upset her. From now on we may need to make a new rule about no discussions on Cookie’s personal life.
P.S. ROFL Ekta… No Anita ke liye na ladko na ladkiyon ki kami hai. Line mein lag jao. Same for Eijaz.

Its sad to think that they have split- but they must ofcourse have their reasons. i just hope that the friendship that was so obvious between them before is not soured.I hope they stay firends and wish them both well. I am a huge fan of anita and a huge fan of eijaz – together they are phenomenal (KA for instance) but apart they are also brill. If they are meant to be – then their paths will cross to make be togther. Till then i enjoy watching both theirs work.
prerna – i have not been much on the site since i got bck from my shaadi – been bit sidetracked. anyways – glad ur’e still doing well on this site.
